Ride at Your Own Pace
E-bike tours make travelling by bike easier without changing what makes it special. You still pedal and set your own pace, but pedal assist kicks in when you need it: on climbs, into a headwind or at the end of a long day. You stay in control of your effort and get more out of every ride.
It’s also the easiest way for couples and friends of different levels to ride together, with no one waiting at the top of the hill. As always, our routes are designed for scenery and discovery, with distances and stages planned for e-bikes and all the logistics taken care of.

FAQ
An e-bike tour is a cycling trip where you ride a pedal-assist electric bike instead of a regular one. You still pedal the whole way, but a small motor adds a boost when you need it: on a climb, into a headwind or at the end of a long day. Everything else stays the same. Your route is planned, your accommodations are booked and your luggage travels ahead of you. You simply choose how much help you want from the bike, one kilometre at a time.
No, and that’s the whole beauty of it. An e-bike lets you adjust your effort to your energy, your fitness and the terrain. If you can ride a regular bike for an hour or so, you can enjoy an e-bike tour. You’ll still get some exercise, just without the sore legs that keep you from enjoying dinner.
We hear this one a lot, often with a smile. The motor only works when you pedal, so you’re always the one moving the bike forward. Most riders end up using the lowest assist level on flat stretches and saving the boost for the climbs. You may pedal a little less hard, but you ride longer, explore more and come home with a bigger grin. If that’s cheating, we’re all for it.
Not at all! If you can ride a bike, you can ride an e-bike. You pick an assist level with a button on the handlebar, and the bike responds as soon as you start pedalling. We explain the basics before you set off, and most riders feel at home within the first few minutes. One tip: start in the lowest assist level until you’re used to the extra push when you take off.
They are heavier than regular bikes because of the motor and battery. You’ll barely notice it while riding, but you will when walking the bike, lifting it onto a stand or turning it around on a narrow path.
Yes. E-bikes are designed for everyday riding, light rain included. Just avoid riding through deep puddles, and never pressure-wash the bike.
