Cycling levels

Easy

You ride now and then, mainly for the pleasure of being on the bike and getting some fresh air. Your rides usually run 30 to 50 km, on mostly flat terrain, at a relaxed pace. For you, cycling is a way to discover a place, take breaks and enjoy the scenery and villages along the way. You favour comfort, consistency and an easygoing approach to cycling travel.

Moderate

Cycling is part of your daily life or your regular routine. You ride several times a week, whether to get around or for longer outings. On a trip, you're comfortable with stages of 40 to 60 km, at a steady but comfortable pace. You enjoy a moderate effort while still taking the time to look around, stop and soak up what's near you.

Challenging

You ride regularly and in a structured way. Long rides are part of your routine, and you're comfortable with distances of 70 to 100 km, hills included. You like a steady, demanding pace while staying tuned in to your surroundings. When you travel, you look for more committed routes, where the physical effort balances with discovery and the quality of the ride.

Demanding

Cycling is central to how you train. You ride very regularly, several times a week, over long distances and plenty of climbing. Stages over 100 km don't faze you, and demanding terrain is well within your comfort zone. When you travel, you're drawn to ambitious routes where endurance, consistency and elevation are fully part of the experience.

Comfort levels

Level 1 – Comfort

You stay in 2- or 3-star accommodations chosen for the warmth of their welcome, their handy location and their friendly atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and perfect for unwinding after a day on the bike. Everything stays carefully planned and dependable, with a reliable standard built around well-being and simplicity.

Level 2 – Premium

You stay in 3- or 4-star accommodations with a bit more character, chosen for their personality, prime location or distinctive setting. The comfort is a notch higher, the common areas more elegant and the mood often more refined. A little extra pleasure rounds out your evenings without ever changing the spirit of a cycling trip.

Level 3 – Superior

You stay in 4- or 5-star accommodations, upscale places known for their character and attentive service. These are spots that shape the trip through their architecture, their setting or their food. Top-tier comfort and a touch of luxury lift every stage of the journey.
