Should we be required to cancel a trip due to insufficient registrations, all amounts paid by the traveler, including the administration fee, will be refunded in full, with no additional compensation. We are committed to notifying travelers as quickly as possible.
Trip costs are not refundable when a traveler cancels for personal reasons, health issues, or political concerns (for example, a government travel advisory recommending against travel to a destination for safety reasons), according to the conditions outlined above.
If one of two travelers sharing accommodations cancels before final payment, they may either transfer their trip to another traveler ($150 modification fee applies) or, in the case of a group tour, the remaining traveler may be paired with a roommate of the same sex, although this cannot be guaranteed. If no roommate can be found, the resulting single-occupancy supplement must be paid. Written notice must be provided to inform us of the cancellation.
Airfare deposits, payments, and cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the airline and the company issuing your ticket (flight consolidator).
At the time of booking, travelers are responsible for providing their name exactly as it appears on their passport. Any name change on an airline ticket is considered a cancellation and applicable fees will apply.
For land-only bookings (without flights), each participant is responsible for confirming with EKILIB that their departure is guaranteed before purchasing airfare or any other transportation required to join the group.
If you wish to advance or delay your departure or return date as part of a group tour, you must request a flight deviation at the time of booking to verify availability and the applicable fare.
Any request to modify a reservation (excluding cancellations and transfers) is not guaranteed and remains subject to availability at the time of the request. 35 days or less before departure: a $100 + tax fee applies to any reservation change.
No transfers are permitted at any time.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical expenses, and baggage. You may already have travel insurance through an existing policy or a credit card; it is important to review the terms and conditions to ensure you are adequately protected.
Contact your travel specialist for more information and an insurance quote. Insurance premiums are never refundable.
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. Prices are based on exchange rates, air and land supplier rates, and taxes in effect at the time of booking. Prices may change due to the addition or increase of government taxes, currency fluctuations, or fuel surcharges. In such cases, if the increase is less than 7%, excluding GST and QST, the client agrees to pay the increase. If the increase is 7% or more, the client may choose a full refund of the amount paid, transfer to another trip, or payment of the difference.
Prices displayed on the website are based on double occupancy and include GST and QST unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include the Travel Agents’ Customer Compensation Fund contribution of $3.50 per $1,000 (effective November 1, 2021).
For all trips, an administration fee of $50 + tax or $75 + tax, depending on the destination, is added to the trip invoice. This fee is non-refundable.
For group tours, with or without airfare, room sharing is available but not guaranteed.
We will make every effort to match travelers with a roommate of the same gender. At the time of booking, travelers are placed on a waiting list until a suitable roommate is found.
If the traveler wishes to guarantee their place on the tour and no roommate is available, they must pay the single supplement at the time of booking. The supplement will be refunded if we, or the traveler, find someone to share the room.
