Cycle touring and cycling tours in North America

Exploring North America by bike means crossing vast and contrasting territories where nature shapes the rhythm of the journey. In Québec and eastern Canada, itineraries follow major geographic landmarks: the shores of the St. Lawrence River, the tour around Lac Saint-Jean, the Saguenay Fjord, the maritime roads of the Bas-Saint-Laurent, or the agricultural landscapes of the Eastern Townships.

Farther west of the St. Lawrence Valley, Ontario and the Maritime provinces offer other atmospheres. Wine routes in Prince Edward County and Niagara, the long beaches of Sandbanks, the Waterfront Trail along the river, or a full crossing of Prince Edward Island between red cliffs, Acadian villages and Atlantic coastline.

The routes favour secondary roads, established bike paths such as the Route Verte or the Confederation Trail, and well-marked routes that allow you to ride with confidence while staying close to the landscapes.

From stage to stage, the journey alternates between nature and culture: riverside villages, historic sites, local communities, vineyards, cheesemakers, microbreweries and regional products. Each itinerary offers a different reading of the territory, to be experienced at your own pace, self-guided or guided.
