The P'tit Train du Nord, this classic Quebec cycling route takes you through the back country and the magnificent villages of the Laurentians. This mythical 234 km long former railway, which allowed the development of the Pays-d'en-Haut, has now been transformed into a magnificent bike path in the shade of the forests. This region is a favourite for outdoor enthusiasts. For a start, the bike path follows the Rivière-Rouge and guarantees different landscapes at every turn. And then, with its 22,000 km2 of forests, lakes and mountains, the Laurentians are a delight for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition, the diversity of ecosystems opens up multiple horizons, allowing for an experience tailored to each individual's preferences.
This route is ideal for both leisure and active cyclists who will enjoy this relatively flat path dedicated cyclists! Ideal for a family outing to introduce the younger ones to the joys of cycling and for guaranteed fun riding through natural landscapes.
St-Jérôme is the departure point. Once you have parked, our private transport will take you, your bikes and your luggage to Mont-Laurier, arriving just before lunch.

Within a few kilometres, you will have already immersed yourself in nature, enjoying the bike path with companions such as deer or wild turkeys. So natural……why not take a swim at the beach on Lac Saguay?
However, don't forget to take the time to explore the town of Nominingue and its surrounding lakes, or the Place de la Gare, with its collection of historical photos of the P'tit Train du Nord.
Continue your ride from station to station up to the famous town - and winter sports resort - of Mont-Tremblant. A great town to stop and stroll from shop to shop, to have a beer at the local microbrewery, or simply to stroll through its small streets. All this, while admiring the breathtaking view of Mont-Tremblant.
Taking in forests and mountains, wooden bridges, lakes and bike cafés, enjoy an easy ride to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. Enjoy a quiet morning strolling around the Tremblant resort before setting off along the superb village bike path that connects with the P'tit Train du Nord. With a day almost equally split between asphalt and rock dust, you are on the right path for the next part of your trip.
The natural landscapes are never ceasing right up to Val-David, a charming village perfect for a gourmet break that is if you haven't already stopped at a bike café at one of the many stations along the way.
After that, the city will gradually get closer. You can feel it with every pedal stroke. The P'tit Train du Nord gets busier and busier and the bikes are becoming more and more varied. Finally, you arrive in Saint-Jérôme where the other end of this magnificent trail is located at kilometre zero.
