The fifty kilometers offer a more moderate climb in altitude. On the other hand it is possible that the wind adds a little challenge to your day. But no worries, you will have many opportunities to set foot ashore to enjoy Easman, Stuckley and Waterloo villages with their respective lakes. In Waterloo, you will find a good snack nearby and the public beach to have a picnic.
Did you miss the St-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey? You want to visit it again? The long route is your option. After St-Benoît, your ride leads on a magnificent narrow and hilly road with a view on small lakes up to Austin. From there two challenges await you : Mount Glen and Mount Echo. It would not be surprising if the smell of Brome Lake Duck tickles your appetite after the energy put in your legs.
